Did this under the summer after i got inspired by some variouse concept artists, and by scrolling through conceptart.org's (or what the adress is) "battle pages".

I see fault in the design now. Those big fins in front, i imagine him/her using them to "fly" through the water in a very slow and smoth motion. But that doesnt really go to well with the back fin, it needs to be more like a whale's fin to float in that harmoniouse motion that the frontfins are designed to do. Well, hope ill think a little longer in any upcoming designes :ahoy: he

yea it does, but looks can be misleading :)
if one knows his anatomy, one can easely see that this could not be a whale.
Whales, and dolphins, and all other water mamals, if you think about it, have their fins going up and down in the water, the fin is horizontal. But in case of a fish, if you think about it, they have their fins in an upright position, moving it from side to side :)

this i realized to late, the design needs that fin, so this is a hybrid, or just a fish.
if i am wrong with this anatomy thing, please note me. I didnt do any research about this, i just knew it.
